lyrics

The Human Factor

I'm putting all my flaws and doubts up on a shelf, though I'm constantly afraid.
Scared of what? I haven't found out for myself, but every night this week I've prayed.

No matter how far I've come, they had some, I never had none.

Framed in by your thumbs, I'll shield my eyes from the sun. "Take one last look at this place".
We sold our souls to modern art, we'll trade our hearts for maps and charts, in hopes to satisfy the need.
But if I wake up now, I'll never live this down. With our ears to the ground, we won't stop till we figure this out.
